I accidentally google mapped 'jumbrotron' and got inauguration-related results. Laughable to see that you actually had a fairly good spot, in terms of proximity - only 2km away. I probably had a better view from Ann Arbor, sitting in the warmth, next to my radio with muted streaming visuals. Takes me back to winter 2006 AAS in DC. Canada geese were eating the grass around the Wash. Mon. That's my lasting memory.

No, the jump-boat, Ron, was largely obscured by leafless trees, and then by men trying to climb them. The audio was audible, though.
